Ryan Butler

Ryan is a Planning Associate at Insight Planning, where he supports Shea and the team throughout the planning process.

Originally from Kelowna, Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. As a student-athlete, he was part of the NCAA men's ice hockey team that won the National Championship in 2022.

At Plattsburgh, he was an active member of the university's Student Managed Investment Fund, where he conducted equity research and developed strategic portfolio allocations. Ryan is enrolled in the Canadian Securities Course and plans to pursue CFP® certification.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing hockey in the winter and golf in the summer.
